Anchors Down Now Open in Ballard

On Friday, Po Dog doyenne Laura Olson quietly opened the doors of her new place in Ballard. The space at 2016 NW Market Street was originally announced as Queen of Norway, a joint endeavor with then-fiance Chris Pardo.
Now the space is a decidedly nonfancy watering hole with rope and anchors and portholes and nautical touches aplenty. Plus it's adjacent to the Ballard Po Dog, so your voyage can also include a decked-out tubesteak.
Eater Seattle has some background on the bar and its partnership right over here. Hours are 4 to 2; here's the Facebook page if you want to keep track of the goings on.
