Mobile Food Fight for Hunger: a chance to gorge on Indian tacos from Off the Rez.

Here's one for you street food folk. Ten local food trucks are rallying August 19 for Mobile Food Fight for Hunger, a chow- and music-fueled benefit for World Concern. Among the participants are names regularly touted on this blog: Skillet, Where Ya at Matt, Off the Rez, Street Donuts, Charlie's

Admission is free, but VIF passes (as in Very Important Foodie) are available for $5. That means you come an hour early to beat the lines--not a bad idea, if past food truck fests are any indicator.

Mobile Food Fight for Hunger starts at noon and ends at 4 at 19303 Fremont Avenue North in Shoreline. Seems worth the trek, if you ask us.
