Here's one for you street food folk. Ten local food trucks are rallying August 19 for Mobile Food Fight for Hunger, a chow- and music-fueled benefit for World Concern. Among the participants are names regularly touted on this blog: Skillet, Where Ya at Matt, Off the Rez, Street Donuts, Charlie's.
Admission is free, but VIF passes (as in Very Important Foodie) are available for $5. That means you come an hour early to beat the lines--not a bad idea, if past food truck fests are any indicator.
Mobile Food Fight for Hunger starts at noon and ends at 4 at 19303 Fremont Avenue North in Shoreline. Seems worth the trek, if you ask us.
