Fridays Are For Food Trucks at Two Beers Brewing

The SoDo facility inaugurates a new summer tradition.

Bigfood and Two Beers: a glorious pairing.

In late 2011 Skillet began parking at Two Beers Brewing to mark the end of the work week. Now the ritual has grown into a full-blown thing.

Every Friday from 3 to 8 the SoDo facility is bringing in a different food truck to shill outside the Woods tasting room. The schedule includes some of Seattle’s premier four-wheelers: Bigfood, Maximus Minimus, Streetzeria, Lumpia World, Dante’s Inferno Dogs, and of course Skillet.

On past occasions that last one whipped up such enticing bites as fish and chips breaded in an amber-infused batter and poutine slathered in Jive Espresso Stout gravy. Equally enticing: your first pint goes for $3 with the purchase of food. And there’s a patio!

Food Truck Fridays kicked off June 1 and will continue through August.
