Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 4.

THURSDAY December 1

Looking for some help pairing wine with your meals? Karen Page and Andrew Dornenberg, authors of The Food Lover’s Guide to Wine, will be signing books and talking how to match vino with vittles at Book Larder from 2:30 to 3:30. If that piques your interest, you can join them at Soul Wine starting at 6:30 for 90 minutes of well-paired wine and food, put together by Soul Wine owner Michael Teer and Serious Pie chef Tony Catini. Tickets are $50 for wine, appetizers, and a signed copy of the book.

FRIDAY December 2

Watch filmmaker Gereon Wetzel go behind the scenes with chef Ferran Adria as he and his El Bulli staff formulate the restaurant’s painstakingly crafted menu. The film, El Bulli: Cooking in Progress opens Friday at Seven Gables Theater. It’s food as avant-garde art.
