Dragonfish Cafe has been donating a portion of cocktail proceeds earned each Wednesday in August to tsunami relief in Japan. This Wednesday, August 31 is your last chance to get in on that. There are prizes too.

Also on Wednesday: Linda Derschang’s eponymous drinkery Linda’s is doing a Halloween-in-summer sort of a thing called Nightmare on Pine Street. There are drink specials and a costume contest, wear something scary to win prizes.

On Saturday, September 3 from noon to 6pm, Epic Ales’s gastropod preview continues with two dishes: a fresh tuna melt and a tuna tartar-poke mashup called “potar/tarke.” The dishes will be paired with Epic’s Imperial Scarlhet and Solar Trans-Amplifier, respectively.
