Bigfood, the Caribbean fusion wagon we told you about last month, is now prepping braised meats, grilled flatbread, and fresh slaw on the go. The mobile operation of Matthew Pontious and Tyler Rebman has been spotted at the Thursday Queen Anne Farmers Market as well as in South Lake Union (around Harrison and Fairview) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 11 and 2. It seems the truck plans to park in the neighborhood on Thursdays, too.

When Nosh last spoke with Pontious he mentioned West Seattle and Bellevue as other possible stops but those don’t seem to be on Big’s radar just yet. (No word on that oyster grill either.)

Pontious and Rebman installed a handy schedule on the Bigfood website should you care to keep tabs on their whereabouts.
