BEACON HILL
Bar del Corso is now open, reports Eater. In the kitchen is the seasoned Jerry Corso; he’s turning out wood-fired pizzas in the tradition of Napoli.

CAPITOL HILL
Eric Banh’s new noodle shop Ba Bar will intro lunch service beginning Monday.

California winemaker Kevin O’Connor of Lioco pours at a Volunteer Park Café wine dinner on July 21 at 7pm. The four-course dinner costs $95.

GEORGETOWN
Evergreens celebrates its first birthday with free grilled cheese samples from 11:30-1 every day until July 22, according to Eater.

INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT
The duo who operated Belltown World Pizza (and shut it down 15 years ago) have opened a new World Pizza at 672 South King St, says Slog.

PHINNEY RIDGE
A new microbrewery called Lantern Brewing has set up shop at 7410 Greenwood Avenue. Currently the only place to get Lantern’s microbrews is at the Phinney Farmers Market, where a variety of ales and stouts are on offer.

But maybe Phinney Market Pub and Eatery will stock those brews, too? The neighborhood hangout with a kids’ corner will offer upscale edibles and looks to open later this summer.

SNOQUALMIE
Terra Vista is in the midst of Lobster Fest. The Snoqualmie Casino restaurant is offering a variety of special dishes through the end of the month.

ON THE MOVE
Bigfood, a new Caribbean fusion truck, is slated to hit the streets soon. The same folks also have a mobile oyster grill in the works.

Kurt Timmermeister is expanding his reach. The owner of Kurtwood Farms on Vashon Island is planning to sell his camembert-style Dinah’s in the Oregon market.
