Neighborhood Food News: Little Water Cantina Opens in Eastlake, Il Corvo in Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market’s Pan Africa comes to West Seattle.

Paratii Craft Bar is now doing business on Leary Avenue.

Cure, a small noshery toeing Cal Anderson Park, is looking to open May 10.

Bake for Hope occurs Saturday, May 7 from 11–3 at Ghost Gallery (504 East Denny Way). All proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Treats from Grand Central Bakery, High 5 Pie, Mighty-O Donuts, and more will be on hand.

What fortuitous timing. Mexican joint Little Water Cantina (with its killer lakefront patio seating 50) opens May 5 at 2pm at 2865 Eastlake Avenue East.

Yet another Cooking Channel nod for Seattle. Wing Dome is slated to appear on an early July episode of Heat Seekers, reports PhinneyWood.

Lunch spot Il Corvo is now open for business inside Procopio Gelateria on the Pike Place Hillclimb. Fresh pastas and antipasti average less than $10 and are available weekdays 11–3.

The owner of Pike Place Market’s Pan Africa is opening Pan Africa Grill at 5905 California SW, reports West Seattle Blog.

During the month of May, union members can receive fifteen percent discounts at a handful of local bars and restaurants: The 5 Point Cafe, Caffe Vita, Big Mario’s, The JuJu, The Crocodile, Moe Bar, Spitfire, Via Tribunali, and Local 360, plus Rudy’s Barbershops.
