Ignite Seattle 14 takes place tonight, May 18, at the King Cat Theater at Sixth Avenue and Blanchard. Things begin to happen at 7pm and admission is $5 at the door. This buys you access to a series of five minutes talks covering such far-flung topics as “How to Go to Kindergarten” and “The Art of Subvertising on Facebook.”

Among the speakers is local food photographer Geoff Smith who provided the pics you ogled while reading Ethan Stowell’s cookbook, New Italian Kitchen.
