Claudio Corallo is no longer—but just in name. The gourmet chocolatier on Westlake Ave now goes by Marie & Freres and will stock additional cacao purveyors.

A “more grown-up” Mioposto will open in Phinney Ridge in April, reports owner Jeremy Hardy, souped up with a year-round patio and full bar. Sounds like a welcome change: as one Nosh Pit commenter noted, screaming kids “run the Mioposto in Mt. Baker.”

Seattlest has news of two Canlis popup dinners, “Hearth & Home," taking place February 27 and 28 at the Queen Anne Macrina Bakery. The meals are five courses, cost $45/person, and will, like the ones Tom Douglas announced earlier this week, fill up in a flash. Also from Seattlest: the normally very spendy Herbfarm is hosting a pay-what-you-will feast on Sunday, February 27. Proceeds will benefit earthquake relief efforts in New Zealand. Make reservations by calling 425-485-5300.

Cheers to more goodwill: IHOP is serving free short stacks on March 1 from 7am-10pm. Tuesday is National Pancake Day, but the occasion is meant to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, so leave a donation for Seattle Children’s.

The next Tavolàta Sunday Feast is on March 6. Leave the squeamish at home—chef Brandon Kirksey is roasting an entire goat.
