Recently, we posted a little pastry porn slideshow consisting of various buches de noel about town.

We (and by we I mean I) forgot one. It’s made by Le Panier Very French Bakery, the (indeed very) French bakery in Pike Place Market that makes some truly elegant cakes and breads, including this traditional yule log—a chocolate mousse cake with chocolate ganache. The cake costs $40 and is available through New Year’s Eve. Call the bakery to order.
