David Beckham Dined on Rabbit Meatballs at Spinasse

He also ate tagliatelle with pork and duck caramelle, among other items.

Bet Becks wishes this were a plate o’ rabbit meatballs.

Trolling the Spinasse website for info on its upcoming family feast, I came across this fun tidbit posted last week on the restaurant’s blog:

When David Beckham was in town to eke out a win over the Sounders, he and a buddy (no Poshie) dined at the Capitol Hill pasta house. He was at first turned away (the gall!) because, per usual, the place was packed and he didn’t have a reservation.

But, says the post, “Becks” returned awhile later and was able to be accommodated. He and his dining companion enjoyed chef Stratton’s Tagliatelle w/Pork, Tajarin w/Ragu, Tajarin w/Butter Sage, Duck Caramelle, and Rabbit Meatballs (no surprise, the duo skipped dessert).

Wonder where he went in the interim?
