In the Fresh Faces! segment of our Food Lovers’ Guide, we commend Marjorie owner Donna Moodie and chef Kylen McCarthy for their civic-minded sensibilities.

Staying true to that tenor, the Capitol Hill restaurant is hosting two upcoming events that will benefit the community. First up is a fundraiser for Capitol Hill Housing, which takes place this Sunday, September 12 between 5 and 9pm. The $50 cover is good for appetizers and drinks, plus live music starting at 7pm. The September 30 fete, this one for CD Forum, also costs $50 with the promise of “free flowing” beer and wine, bites to eat, and a complimentary cocktail.

RSVP for either event via [email protected].
