Tonight Christine Keff unveils the new home of Flying Fish, her lauded seafood restaurant that on May 3 abandoned its longtime Belltown digs for a spot in the behemoth South Lake Union development Vulcan. Flying Fish 2.0 is located at 300 Westlake Avenue North.

What changes can diners expect? Keff told us in January “it will feel like the same restaurant but taste and look a little different,” adding she planned to update the decor and incorporate into the menu “lighter, more contemporary” dishes.

Another new development: lunch. Come Monday the seafood hotspot will serve the noon hour crowd, news that is sure to please kids, her new neighbors. Keff is also reportedly creating a lunch-and-dinner take-out menu.

In January Keff announced she would be leaving the corner of First and Bell, Fish’s home for 15 years. What lured her to SLU? Find out here.
