Big Deals at Very Good Restaurants

Spring Hill Chef Mark Fuller announced today that beginning December 14th he will be adding a fried chicken dinner to the Monday Night Supper menu. The cost is $80 for four people.
This buys you (per the web site): “two whole fried chickens, herbed dumplings with cheddar and teleme, buttered russet potatoes with gravy, marinated cucumber salad, braised brussels sprouts, deep fried apple pie with vanilla ice cream.” Damn. Make a reservation, 48 hours is required.
Meanwhile, Wallingford’s Joule has published its Sunday Winter Supper lineup. The dinners go from 3 to 9pm, and are served family style. Cost is $25 per adult and $10 per kid.
