This Thursday, December Third Tini Bigs (now without Boudreau), celebrates its 13th anniversary with 10 oz Finlandia martinis for $4.50—they usually go for $9. The bar will extend its food happy hour to 10pm.

Meanwhile on Tuesday, December 8th the inimitable Five Point Cafe, marks its 80th (80th!) birthday, owners David Meinert and Mandy Park will be celebrating by bringing back the following old-timey prices from 9am to 10pm: 2 eggs, bacon, and toast for 25 cents, a hamburger and fries for 20 cents, a Blue Plate special for 30 cents, and 25 cent Pabst Blue Ribbon beers. Even for a dyed-in-the-wool dive bar, those are some crazy cheap offerings.
