Hey scotch fans, if you haven’t witnessed the bawdy, kilt-clad Ari Shapiro doing his thing, here’s your chance. The master of scotch will lead a single-malt tasting TONIGHT at Morton’s from 6-7:30pm. The cost is $45 per person and includes a dish from Morton’s paired with each whiskey.

If you can’t make it tonight, the Bookstore Bar at the Alexis Hotel will host a similar event on Monday, November 16th from 7-9pm, for $30—food pairings included. I was a guest of a Shapiro tasting at the Alexis earlier this fall, and I can assure you you’ll leave quite stuffed (not to mention a little buzzed).
