Beer Me That 20th Anniversary Party

Delicious but Dangerous: Monk’s Uncle.
This Saturday, October 17th, Pike Brewing—run by the delightful Charles and Rose Ann Finkel—is celebrating its 20th anniversary. (Twenty years! That’s like 200 years in craft-brewery time.)
Everyone’s invited to join them at the Pike Place Market pub, where The Atlas Stringband begins playing around 5pm. At 7, the party will pause to sing happy birthday and partake of free Pike Pale Birthday Cake. There will also be special prices on all the brews. (Don’t miss the Monk’s Uncle trippel. Don’t miss it, that is, unless you’re driving—at 9 percent APV it will have you seeing stars right quick.)
Crazy collector people take note: the brewery will be raffling off various beer-related curios all night. Fun times.
