Happy Hour

Fonté Coffee Rolls Out Two Happy Hours

Breakfast HH. Don’t mind if I do.

Seattle Met intern Karen Quinn is one of the most natural reporters I’ve ever seen. (Check out her interview with Top Chef star Robin Leventhal on Nosh Pit.) She even gets scoops for her editors when she’s at the coffee shop. Yesterday at Fonté, she learned the bar/coffeeshop/restaurant will be introducing a happy hour next Wednesday.

"It’ll be 5-7 daily with $3 tap beer, $3 food, and off-menu items including a tomato pie from southern France—a salty crust filled with a layer of stone-ground mustard, a layer of Gruyere cheese, a layer of sliced tomatoes, and topped with fresh basil" reports Quinn.

"Plus they’re going to do a morning happy hour from 6-8am where you can get drip coffee and a homemade croissant with homemade jam (they had peach lavender when I was there) for $3. Upgrade to a latte for $1."

So there you have it. Thanks Karen.
