Walk-Up Window for Skillet Opened THIS MORNING

Like a side of permanence with that burger?

By Kathryn Robinson July 14, 2009

Just when everyone else in the land is getting all misty over the idea of street food, Skillet, the mobile airstream trailer that kicked off Seattle’s nascent street food craze, has gone all permanent-address on us.

This morning saw the debut of Skillet’s walk-up window (formally known as, um, Skillet’s walk-up window) at Fourth Ave S. and S. Main Street.

Hours will be 7:30am-10am for breakfast, 11am-2:30pm for lunch.

They’re keeping mum on which days for sure—this week its every weekday—but then permanence is sort of a new concept to this crew. Give ’em time.
