Kirkland Gets an Agua Verde

If ever a restaurant could use a second location, this is the one

Boat Street’s delectable Agua Verde Cafe opens its Eastside location this Saturday, June 13.

It’s the concession at Houghton Beach Park. Which is just down the street from Kirkland’s Marsh and David Brink parks, the strip long nicknamed “Unemployment Beach” that’s been unusually crowded in recent months. Nice timing, Agua Verde.

Because the new outpost will serve up the same underpriced organic yam tacos and grilled mahi-mahi tacos and fresh mango quesadillas that have made a summertime table at the original Agua Verde as persistently out-of-reach as the Holy Grail.

And don’t let this get around…but The Tablehopper has it on excellent authority that this Saturday, in honor of opening day, AV2 will be giving away organic chips and salsa and frozen fruit smoothies from noon to 4pm.
