So here I am, once again, posting about Pike Brewing (other Seattle breweries, you might want to up the special-events ante, hear? You’re getting schooled.)

But this is a special event indeed, because your mayor has proclaimed the week of May 7-17 Seattle Hand-Crafted Beer Week, in honor of the events planned around town.

Nickels’ proclamation will be read aloud on Thursday at 5pm at Pike, where a keg of Pike Double IPA will be tapped to honor the occasion.
