Booze News
This Week in Drinking
Free Flamenco on Capitol Hill, new cocktail focused cantina on Union, and the Washington Post’s third annual suds smackdown.
Another tapas destination on Capitol Hill lures customers with free flamenco: Head to Tidbit Bistro to check out singer/quitar duo Daniel and Erina from Barrio Flamenco on Thursday, March 12 beginning at 7pm.
I’m intrigued to check out the tequila bar and drinks at the new Tex/Mex joint from Dallas restaurateur (and Washington native) Dale Wamsted. Looks like he’s hired Seattle’s self-titled King of Martinis, Dan Minjares, to run the cocktail program. I’ll follow up with details as soon as possible.
Finally, Beer lovers: check out the Washington Post’s very cool Beer Madness competition here. Quarterfinals take place this Wednesday.
