When Seattle Met intern Camden was writing this little piece about the coffee exhibit at the Burke (opening today), I eavesdropped as he regaled our research editor with fascinating tales of coffee lore. I think there was something about goat herders discovering that the plant was a stimulant after their goats ate leaves and started spazzing out—stuff like that. I’ll spare you the “every self-respecting Seattleite should go to an exhibit about coffee har har” talk, and just say that this is exactly the kind of thing I wish local museums did more often. I’m there, Burke.
