Beard and Stache Fest Drinking Events

You, too, can grow a ’stache like this.
March, it’s a big one in these parts. It’s when we fete the state’s wine industry and tiptoe into liquor privatization, and when hirsute-inclined fellows grow unwieldy facial hair in support of King County organization Treehouse.
Yes, Beard and Stache Fest is underway, and this year the fourth-annual event brings an abundance of drinking opportunities, for the bewhiskered and otherwise. The full list of events is on the Beard and Stache Fest website, but we’ve highlighted some especially fun ones below.
THURSDAY March 8
Pies and Pints
Live tunes from the Beehive Juggernauts from 8 to 11 for all, drink specials for bearded ones.
THURSDAY March 15
Tim’s Tavern
The dive on 105th is touting a “karaoke extravaganza” that commences at 9. If you can’t make it then, Ozzie’s is also opening up the mic on the 30th.
MONDAY March 19
Calamity Jane’s
The Georgetown bar has something of a following for its Monday bingo nights. Find out why during this special bearded session starting at 8. Donation necessary in order to get your cards.
WEDNESDAY March 21
Walrus and the Carpenter
The stellar oyster destination offers discounts for the late-night crowd starting at 11:30 and going until 1:30. Maybe at that hour you can actually score a table.
