2010 Sasquatch! Festival Lineup Announced

Pavement, My Morning Jacket, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Ween set to headline.

I didn’t make it to the Crocodile last night for the concert/Sasquatch festival announcement (wanted to, but I was on hour three of The Seven Samurai at SIFF, and you can’t leave before the bandits are dead. That’s blasphemous).

Anyway, the 2010 lineup is now available, and it’s a solid mix of indie acts, hip hop and stand-up comedians—including Craig Robinson, aka Darryl on The Office. Love that guy. My Morning Jacket, Pavement, Ween, Vampire Weekend, and MGMT share top billing, while several acts are former Rolling Stone Breaking artists, such as the xx, Dam-Funk, Mayer Hawthorne, Girls, Dirty Projectors, and the Low Anthem. So even if you don’t recognize half of these names, someone out there thinks they’re special.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, February 20, at 10am here. Pre-sale single tickets are $70, and the three-day pass is $170.

Sasquatch! hints that new artists will be added in the coming months. Until then, here’s the lineup for Sasquatch! Music Festival 2010, May 29-31, at the Gorge:
