Metallica Brings the Heaviness to CenturyLink Field

Start stretching your neck muscles now, you'll want 'em to be limber for optimal headbanging when Metallica comes to Seattle. On Wednesday, August 9, the legendary metal band stops at CenturyLink Field as part of its first full North American tour since 2009. For additionally heaviness, Avenged Sevenfold and Gojira will open the concert.
The tour supports Metallica's 2016 album Hardwired...To Self-Destruct, which has widely been praised as the band's best record in decades. Rolling Stone, Revolver, and PopMatters all hailed it as the #1 metal album of the year. Every ticket purchased for the concert includes a digital or CD copy of Hardwired... To Self-Destruct.
General tickets for Metallica at CenturyLink Field go on sale this Friday, February 17 at 10am via Ticketmaster. Seats run $55–$155.
