Odesza and Chvrches Headline Capitol Hill Block Party 2016

The spirit of Capitol Hill Block Party isn't one that screams establishment. But the numbers don't lie. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the once humble neighborhood festival, and (surprise!) it's shaping up to be a memorable bash.
After selling out three nights at the Paramount Theatre last December, Odesza returns to headline the festival where the electronic duo has long been a favored act. Scottish synthpop trio Chvrches—armed with the serene and emotionally impactful vocals of Lauren Mayberry—joins Odesza at the top of the CHBP bill. Other notable groups heading to the Hill this summer include Crystal Castles, STRFKR, Thundercat, MØ, the Joy Formidable, the Cave Singers, and DJDS. Plenty more acts (specifically locals) will be announced in the future to fill out the rest of the lineup.
Single day tickets are not yet on sale, but three-day festival passes can be purchased for $135–$300.
UPDATE 6/6/16: Single day tickets go on sale tomorrow, June 7 at 8am via capitolhillblockparty.com. The daily prices vary from $65–$75. The full lineup and schedule will be announced tomorrow, but we do know that Odesza headlines July 23 and Chvrches tops the bill on July 24.
