Nobody starts at the top. While Seattle soul singer Allen Stone has found plenty of success, he hasn't forgotten the path that got him to where he is today. To celebrate his upcoming album Radius (which currently doesn't have a specific release date), Stone will spend a week in April playing five shows at five of his favorite local venues. (Thankfully, he's not a crazy person trying to cram them all in one day like Tomo Nakayama.)
The Evolution of an Artist series traces Stone's career trajectory from playing small venues like the Triple Door (Monday, April 13) and Nectar Lounge (Tuesday, April 14) to singing at bigger clubs like the Crocodile (Thursday, April 16) and Neumos (Friday, April 17), before concluding with a headlining gig at the Paramount Theatre (Saturday, April 18). It's a chance to see Stone's growth as an artist in condensed fashion on the stages he's called home.Tickets for all of Allen Stone's Evolution of an Artist shows go on sale this Friday, February 20 at 10am at stgpresents.org/AllenStone. Weeklong VIP passes are available for $300. Single tickets range from $21–$45 (VIP $71–$95).
