Canadian author Margaret Atwood concludes her dystopian MaddAddam trilogy with the newly released (and aptly named) MaddAddam. The world of terrifying bioengineering and eco-terrorism she creates once again showcases her mastery of prose. As the late author Elmore Leonard said in his tips for writers, “Don’t go into great detail describing places and things. Unless you’re Margaret Atwood…”

On Friday, October 4, Atwood brings the triology's last chapter to Town Hall for a sold out reading (standby tickets may be available at the door the day of the reading, starting at 6:45). In addition to her novels, the 73-year-old author has found another, perhaps unexpected, outlet for her writing - Twitter. Atwood stays incredibly active on the social media platform (tweeting over 18,000 times and garnering 400,000 followers) and has even sparked unlikely relationship with famed Twitter comedian Rob Delaney; one that's resulted in many humorous exchanges.
