What do Sherman Alexie, Pearl Jam's Jeff Ament, SuperSonics legend Gary Payton, and chef Ethan Stowell have in common? On Saturday, June 15, they’ll all be playing softball at Safeco Field. It’s the All-Star Softball Classic for homeless youth put on by the United Way of King County. The group is split into two teams, each led by a Mariners Hall of Famer. Catcher Dan Wilson’s team includes Ament, Payton, and Stowell. They’ll be up against right fielder Jay Buhner’s group featuring Alexie, SuperSonic Detlef Schrempf, and KOMO 4 anchor Molly Shen. Check out the full lineup here.

After the game, stick around for a concert by local indie-pop band the Young Evils, a group that's playing this year's Capitol Hill Block Party. General admission tickets for the five-inning game are $10. VIP passes are available for $125, which include a meet and greet with the players. All the proceeds will help to create programs for homeless youth in Seattle. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.

Hey, and dads really like baseball, right? Hint. Hint.
