Mornin’. Just a friendly reminder that Bumbershoot ticket prices go up tomorrow: from $40 to $55 for single-day passes and $110 to $165 for a three-day pass. I’m still convinced the best deal is the $45 any-day pass (soon to be $55), which allows all us noncommittal Seattleites to decide at the last minute if we want to see Gotye and AWOLNATION that Saturday OR get a little soul from Tony Bennett and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings on Sunday OR do a dubstep Monday with Skrillex, M83, and Passion Pit.

Personally, I’ll probably go Monday: That’s when Jeopardy legend Ken Jennings will lead a trivia session, comedian Fred Armisen (of SNL and Portlandia ) will do…something on stage, and a few of my favorite local bands (Hey Marseilles, Star Anna and the Laughing Dogs, Seapony, Reignwolf) will play earlier in the day.
