This is cool: all through June, 15 bars around Seattle will be serving an original drink of their own design. Participating businesses will donate either $2 or 20 percent from drink sales to Lamdba Legal, Equal Rights Washington, and Gay City Health Project.

The project is a commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, the NYC demonstrations that kind of kicked off the whole gay rights movement. Heck, I’ll drink to that.

They’re calling the drinks “Equaltinis,” but let’s not hold that against them. I’m excited to see the different interpretations at each place.

Where to order your Equaltini:
Sazerac
Flying Fish
Dinette
Table 219
Broadway Grill
Galerias
Rosebud Restaurant and Bar
Purr Cocktail Lounge
Martin’s Off Madison
C.C. Attle’s
Changes in Wallingford
R Place
Julia’s on Broadway
Wildrose
