Audience Development Manager

SagaCity Media is seeking a bright and motivated individual to fill the role of Audience Development Manager in our downtown Seattle office. The candidate must be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Executes day-to-day email newsletter strategy including testing, optimization, and reporting.
  • Oversees database and marketing automation strategy, utilizing consumer data to measure engagements and conversions.
  • Manages and measures social targeting campaigns, identifies ways to increase visibility, and establish best practices.
  • Oversees traditional subscriber retention practices and schedules, including gift campaigns, to determine opportunities to increase response rate.
  • Assists Director of Audience Development with collection and filing of circulation audit material.
  • Maintains proficiency and knowledge of market trends, technologies and products. 
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, business, communications, or publishing
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and flexible to shifting priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, work ethic, and sense of humor
  • Basic proficiency in HTML/CSS desired

Marketing Designer 

Seattle Met and SagaCity Media are looking for a Marketing Designer to join our downtown Seattle–based team. This is a beginner/mid-level position, fit for someone with at least two years of experience in graphic design.  We’re looking for the right someone to develop smart, creative marketing materials that drive interest and awareness of our publications, promotions, events, and partners.

Candidate must be flexible, detail-oriented, proactive, and have good multi-tasking and time management skills. 

Main responsibilities include: 
  • Work with the Marketing & Sales Department to develop and design advertising proposals, mock-ups, presentations, sell sheets, program recaps, and sales materials for SagaCity publications.
  • Work with the Sales & Marketing Director in the creation of unique event and advertiser promotion collateral that falls within the said publications design guidelines
  • Work with the Editorial & Art Department to develop and maintain brand guidelines as related to marketing ads.  
Qualifications:
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly responsible, collaborative, and self-motivated
  • Minimum of two years experience in graphic design, typography, interactive design and/or visual communications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with other teams
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and flexible to shifting priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, fine arts or a related field 
  • A passion for branding and visual storytelling

Sales & Production Coordinator

Seattle Met and SagaCity Media are looking for a Sales & Production Coordinator to join our downtown Seattle–based team. This is an entry-level position. We’re looking for the right someone to work with our internal sales team. The candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive and possess strong multi-tasking/time management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent production support for ongoing work and special projects, including: incoming advertisements, contracts, sales reports, marketing materials, lead lists, etc.
  • Create and provide strategy for marketing e-blasts sent to advertisers to elicit sales
  • Present eblast analytics in weekly sales meetings
  • Act as a liaison between clients and marketing designer
  • Print, bind and circulate media kits and additional sales marketing materials to sales reps
  • Track levels of paper/materials for sales and marketing materials
  • Collect and traffic ad materials for Seattle Met and Seattle Met Bride & Groom
  • Upkeep of products/schedules/rate cards in the database
  • Prospect new print and digital leads
  • Coordinate UPS and USPS mailers for the sales reps
  • Additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; skilled in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Highly responsible, collaborative, and self-motivated
  • Minimum of two year’s experience in an office environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, work ethic, and sense of humor
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and flexible to shifting priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Business, Sales/Marketing, or a related field

Seattle Met, the city's award-winning regional magazine published by SagaCity Media, is seeking a full-time Account Executive to generate local and regional digital sales. Product portfolio includes online, social, mobile and e-marketing.

Qualified candidates should possess a fluent understanding of digital media platforms, digital advertising options, Google Analytics, SEO, ad tracking, and post-campaign reporting in order to offer a proactive, experienced point-of-view to impact digital purchasing decisions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive digital ad revenue through daily prospecting for new accounts, leads and sales
  • Develop and deliver on new digital opportunities to generate revenue to achieve company goals

  • Develop effective post-campaign digital advertising reports to insure client retention
  • Build relationships within locally-based tech and gaming industry for potential partnership opportunities
