Wanted: A plane ticket to any spot listed in the Beach Boys song Kokomo.

There are three things you need to survive a Seattle snowstorm—hot chocolate, fuzzy slippers, and plane tickets to a warmer destination. Here are a selection of current travel specials to warmer climes:

• Alaska Airlines’ Mexico sale ends Friday. One-way flights from SeaTac to Mazatlan and Los Cabos start at $169—and that’s for trips that happen as soon as tomorrow, provided Alaska doesn’t cancel more flights. Oh, you wanted to come back at the end of your vacation? Then double those prices.

• San Francisco isn’t exactly tropical, but at least there’s no snow on their immediate forecast. At the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, a special exhibit opens tomorrow. In a ginormous atrium lobby—at 17 floors, it’s the world’s largest—you’ll see a cable car complete with photo backdrop, 350-pound Beach Blanket Babylon hat, and a spread about Ghirardelli Chocolates. Through February 29, you can get $75–$150 in dining credit for staying two nights.

• Decamp to the desert already. Southwest Airlines has a $330 Las Vegas package that includes airfare, accommodations at the Luxor, and Cirque du Soleil tickets.

• What are you going to do in Honolulu? Figure it out when you get there. Round-trip flights are $396 at fly.com.
