-The 10th annual Port Angeles Dungeness Crab and Seafood Festival tempts seafood lovers Saturday and Sunday with cooking demos and a special presentation by the United States Coast Guard.

-In Snohomish, Stocker Farms makes its ghoulish transformation to Stalker Farms this weekend. During the day there are gigantic pumpkin fields and a 10 acre zoo-themed corn maze, but at night you wander the labyrinth at your own risk.

-A Columbus Day Triathlon takes place on Sunday at Vance Creek Park in Elma. Races are set at various distances—in case you overdid it on the carbo loading—and there’s a post-run lunch of chili, turkey sandwiches, and cider.

-The Long Beach Cranberrian Fair celebrates its 91st year with historical events and local produce. It goes all weekend at the Columbia Pacific Heritage in Ilwaco, and at least one stand will be serving peach-cranberry pie.

-It’s Portland’s turn for Fashion Week with three days (starting Friday) of 2012 collections from Seth Aaron, Michael Costello, Amai Unmei, and more. Tickets range from $15 to $175, but the Benson Hotel is sneaking in ticket discounts for overnighters.
