No one’s scared of heights, right?

You look across the Sound and the Olympics beckon in the distance—but who has time to hop a ferry and navigate the tangle of highways to the Olympic Peninsula?

On flights barely longer than 30 minutes, you can get from Seattle to Port Angeles on Kenmore Air, a local airline that’s been flying since 1946. They’re known for their showy float plane takeoffs on Lake Union, but their 25 planes also do regular runway departures from Boeing Field.

But you’ll want wheels once you get to Port Angeles; the Olympic National Park’s mountains and beaches await. Luckily Kenmore is offering a free rental car when you buy a plane trip for two to and from the Olympic Peninsula. With flights starting at $49 one way, it’s a both a good deal and a hell of a way to beat the traffic.
