Supporters of JDRF Seattle Guild’s 29th Annual Dream Gala came together and “Rocked the Casbah” on March 10th at the Sheraton Seattle, where $2.5 million was raised for type 1 diabetes research with over 800 guests in attendance. This year’s honoree Poe Construction, Dream Gala co-hairs: Dr. Gary & Wendy Kaplan, Greg & Stacy Lill, and Dean & Stacy Jones, and the extraordinary generosity of our many sponsors, gala patrons, donors, and volunteers came together to help JDRF create a whole new world where we will turn Type One into Type None. To cap off the night guests danced to Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Since the Seattle Guild was founded, the Seattle Dream Gala has raised $72.5 million.
