Seattle Opera’s Gala Featuring Greer Grimsley on April 16 was a night of glamour and exemplary artistry. With gourmet food and wine, live and silent auctions, and surprise performances, this event united all guests under one mission: to support the Seattle Opera and its community programs that connect the region through songs and stories. Featured performances included beloved bass-baritone Greer Grimsley, and 30-plus performers ages 6-18 from the company’s Teen Vocal Studio and Youth Opera Chorus. Auctioneer Michael Davis of Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. led bidders through lots containing one-of-a-kind experiences and world-class wines, with all proceeds promoting programs that will further efforts to create a lasting impact throughout the community.
