Cornish College of the Arts’ Next Century Gala raised more than a half million dollars for scholarships as the institution celebrated its 101^st anniversary. Musical theater star Stephanie J. Block and Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning playwright/director Brian Yorkey headlined the event on November 13, 2015, at The Four Seasons Hotel. Cornish dance student JuJu Kusanagi was acknowledged by the crowd after a screening of her dance film “itsy bitsy” was played for the guests. Additional entertainment was provided by student performers. Co-chairs of the event were Jody Cunningham & Mark Mennella and Doug & Marianne Francis.
