The James Beard Foundation hosted its 3rd annual Taste America event at the Space Needle + Chihuly Garden and Glass on October 2. Almost three hundred guests experienced a dynamic reception featuring silent and live auctions with food and drinks provided by local chefs. They also enjoyed a meal created by all-star chef Tyler Florence, James Beard Award Winner Thierry Rautureau, pastry chef Neil Robertson, and Host Chef Jeff Maxfield. A portion of the proceeds benefits a Taste America scholarship for culinary students in Washington.
