On October 30th, the Pilchuck Glass School art auction raised $1.65 million to support artists and programs. Inspired by an ‘enchanted forest’ theme, the gala featured woodland attire and wildlife sights and sounds that filled Fremont Studios.  Among the 575 participants were: Leonard and Norma Klorfine (sponsors of a $500,000 challenge match), Chap and Eve Alvord, Katharyn Alvord Gerlich, Brian Marks and Carol Maione, Joan Stonecipher, Dorothy Saxe, Jimmy and Patty Barrier, Dale and Leslie Chihuly and Lino and Lina Tagliapietra.
