On August 22, thousands enjoyed SAM Remix at the Olympic Sculpture Park. There were dueling bands, larger-than-life sculptures, art making at every turn, waterfront views, and dancing under the open skies. DJ Utopia and DJ Sharlese lit up the park with beats throughout the night. There were highly opinionated “my favorite things tours” with Lead Pencil Studio and Portland-based curator Elizabeth Spavento, and relaxing under the stars with outdoor films.
