On Friday, November 1, more than 300 supporters joined MOHAI in celebrating the museum's remarkable impact at the 28th Annual History Makers Gala, held for the first time in MOHAI’s dazzling new home at Lake Union Park. The evening was filled with examples of the ways MOHAI's innovative programming connects our region's youth to our shared history, from Educator of the Year Laura Blackburn from Cleveland High School accepting her award, to a powerful and personal spoken word performance from two local high school students.
