An estimated 12,000 walkers, including heart and stroke survivors, gathered and walked with their friends, family members, and company teams at the American Heart Association’s Heart and Stroke Walk on October 26. Jared Fogle, spokesperson for Subway Restaurants, made a special appearance at the event and addressed the crowd during opening ceremonies and the Premera Blue Cross flash mob was a big hit as well. In all, the walk raised over $1.65 million.
