Over 250 guests and hundreds more bystanders gathered at Pacific Place on Wednesday, September 18, for the second annual large-scale fashion show Downtown Seattle Rocks the Runway. Presented by Seattle Met and Pacific Place, in partnership with the Metropolitan Improvement District, the event served as a kick off to five days of savings at many of downtown Seattle’s retailers and restaurants. Upon arrival, guests had their photo taken on the step & repeat and marveled at the luxury vehicle brought in by the premier event sponsor, The Northwest Cadillac Dealers Group. Before watching fall’s latest fashions on the catwalk, partygoers sipped Proximo Spirits cocktails, Peroni beer, and wines from O Wines as they sampled bites from Pacific Place restaurants. VIP guests enjoyed all of that and more in the luxurious Roche Bobois VIP lounge before and after the show. Fashion show retailers included Barneys New York, Club Monaco, Columbia Sportswear, Eileen Fisher, Emilie SLOAN, The Finerie, Free People, GUESS?, Macy’s, Mario’s, Momo, Nordstrom, Pala Pala Dress Boutique, Sandylew, TWIST, and Zebraclub. Aveda provided makeup for models and all hair styling was by Gary Manuel. Additional event sponsors included Gratafy, Postmates, Sparkling Ice, and Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle. All net proceeds benefited the Junior League of Seattle.
