On Thursday, March 21, the Seattle Symphony’s patrons packed Benaroya Hall to hear one of classical music’s most iconic compositions: Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony. Twenty-nine-year-old conductor David Afkham made his Seattle Symphony debut at this popular concert, which also featured French cellist Gautier Capuçon performing music by Benjamin Britten.
