The Next Fifty – celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair – got off to a spectacular start on Opening Day April 21 as thousands attended festivities at Seattle Center. Sponsored by Bartell Drugs, it marked the kickoff of six months of competitions, exhibits, and opportunities for fun and learning at Seattle Center.
