Behind the Scenes: Seattle Met Holiday Gift Guide 2014

So nice we shot it twice.

By Amanda Zurita With Jeremy Buben November 17, 2014

Flip to page 72 in the just-out December issue of Seattle Met and you'll find a glossy five-page spread full of 80-plus products worth gifting this holiday season. From pocket knives to puppets, cool clutches, kitchen tools, and more—we gathered up a city's worth of presents.

And we gathered them up, twice.

Due to one of those act-of-god type flukes, the photos from our initial gift guide shoot were lost, leaving us to make second trips to the 31 stores and vendors to borrow every item, lay them out, and photograph them again a week later. Despite a frenzy worthy of a bad holiday movie, it all came together eventually.

Check out a bonus 25 giftables from the shoot, below, and stay tuned throughout December for more insider shopping and holiday items of the moment.
