This Saturday, Filson's SODO flagship store is home to their Sportsman’s Expo from 10am—6pm. The Seattle outdoor outfitter hosts a ton of handpicked Pacific Northwest merchants who will be on site to share their craft and wares at the 1st Ave location, selling their goods and limited edition items not typically found in the Seattle store. There's a bonus too, of course—the day will include live music from Star Anna and Mark Pickerel, and refreshments (food trucks and drinks). If you're not familiar with the Seattle born and bred label, Filson started on our shores over a century ago, and to this day provides gear to explorers, adventurers, and people passionate about the outdoors.
WHO: PNW brands participating in the expo include Anchorhead Coffee, Beckel Canvas Tents, hammocks by Deckhand Manufacturing, fishnets by Fisknat, Graycloud knives, Billfish Art Design (handcrafted Marlin spikes and Swordfish bills), Meridian Forge metal work, Mike’s Butcher Blocks, artisanal mustard from Mustard & Co., and Owens Meats: "the candy store for the carnivore." You will also find the custom letterpress printer Pike Street Press, Portland Growler Co. and SODO locals, Seapine Brewing. Last but certainly not least, the Washington Trail Association will be there or be square as the expert resource for WA trails and hikes.
WHEN: Saturday, June 11th, 10am—6pm
WHERE: Filson, 1741 1st Avenue South, in SODO (Seattle)
